Princess Zelda Cosplay from Breath of the Wild

Heya :D
Some of you might know already that last month I decided to finally create a cosplay, after 2 years!
I have stopped for a while and then most of the time during those 2 years I created less costumes than I normally do and almost all of them were original characters and not exactly cosplay....
But after playing Breath of the Wild (not gonna lie, I watched most of it on youtube because i'm not buying a nintendo switch for ONE game. I'm sorry but those reckless days are gone now xD)

But anyway the cool part of it was using White Worbla to make Zelda's armour & jewellery set (further known as Zelda's Bling) since it was my first time using this kind of technique!
You can see on the images  on the side and below how I made the EVA foam base, then covered with Worbla .

Pieces covered with white worbla (Pre sanding/Priming)

This is how the pieces looked like after sanding for HOURS (yes, I know it doesn't look like it makes a difference this step makes a huge difference when painting) and primed.
This was the longest and most boring part of the whole process but it's super worth the extra effort to make it super smooth :D

This is the final result after painting :D

I used golden spray-paint, acrylics and varnish to finish all the pieces.

Also ! I got to wear this costume during my holidays to an event in Faro, Portugal called MCE (Manga & Comic Event) I have visited this event before and I always really like the atmosphere there, it's a really nice and simple event and you get to meet a lot of cool people :)

Here's a special Zelda selfie I haven't posted in any of my social media :D It's a bonus for reading all of this until the end , I truly appreciate and I hope it was interesting for you !

I wanna start posting more so please give me ideas of what you wanna see :D leave me a comment below or find me on my social media pages at @elfscarlett

Happy Halloween 🖤

Hello Magical Creatures 💕
I haven't been using my blog in a long time and what better excuse than a Halloween post ?
This year I didn't actually make a costume, but I put a costume together nonetheless and I made some horns with worbla :)

I didn't make proper a tutorial on how to do them because it was my first time making worbla horns and I don't think I have enough skills yet for a well made tutorial but I took some pictures of the progress that might be helpful for anyone who's wanting to make horns with worbla :)

Time : 4 hours ( + 1/2 hrs drying time for primer/paint
Cost : approx £20-25
Materials : Newspaper, kitchen foil, worbla, PVA glue, Polyurethane foam, acrylic paint, heavy duty wire.
Tools : hot-air gun, scissors, Stanley knife, pencil, clay tools (optional)

Process :
Step 1 - I created the shape using newspaper and kitchen foil making sure both horns are similar.
Step 2 - Cut your worbla to size heat it and wrap around the horns
Step 3 - Perfect the shape by trimming the excess and hiding the seams with heat and molding.

Step 4 - Use a sharpie to mark the pattern for the texture of the horns and use the clay tools or scissors to emboss the texturised pattern
Step 5 - Prime with PVA glue ( I used 3 layers ) let dry and sand lightly.
Step 6 - Paint as you wish, let dry and apply varnish
Step 7 - Remove newspaper from the inside of horns and fill with PU foam
Step 8 - Cut the excess foam you're done ! :)

Here's the final result ! :)

If you try this project please share your experience with me :) or have any questions just leave me a comment 💖

Thank you for reading ! :D

Love, Light and Magical hugs,
xxxx

Magic II Blue Lenses Review - Klens Pop Circle Lenses

NAME :MAGIC II COLOR BLUE
COLOUR: BLUE
SELLER : K. LENS POP
DIAMETER: 13.1

Heya!
Today I bring you a review on these amazing blue lenses!
I used them for my Maid Senna cosplay (reference image at the end of this post)
In this picture you can see how they look without flash in a not very bright environment, and no flash.

On your left you can see an image of what the bottles look like and the lenses when they are not being worn, hope this gives you a good idea of the actual colour of the lens when it’s not combined with my own eye colour.

The shade of blue is perfect for most blue-eyed characters you might want to cosplay or for kawaii looks, they make your eyes bigger and give them an innocent look, but I would not reccomend these lenses so much for natural looks and non-animated character cosplay/costumes because they look a bit artificial in the eyes, even though that's the effect I wanted for Senna. They are very confortable as well, I have worn them this day while working on the maid cafe, so about 8 hours, and I felt no disconfort at all :)

Here's a more upclose picture of me making an angry face xD But you can see my eyes better :D

You can get these lenses at http://klenspop.com

Disclaimer: I am not sponsored by this brand, i have purchased these lenses with my own money and all my comments and review on them are my honest opinion :)

Hope you liked this kind of post :)

SweetHeart Annie - League Cosplay

SWEETHEART ANNIE

I had a lot of fun creating this! I made this overnight in 6-8 hours.
I wish I had thought it with more time! It could have looked more perfect and clean.

Elements:

Skirt: I made 2 circle skirts - one with red satin and one with burgundy cotton fabric and overlayed them. Added elastic to the waist to fray and adjust. Hemmed with heat for no thread visibility.

Shirt: Made out of red satin and violet cotton - added a golden collar, heart appliqué and fraying arround the hem line. FIRST TIME MAKING BUBBLE SLEEVES!

Heart piece: Made of Yoga mat and Fibreglass. Primed, painted golden and red and spray varnish finishing.
